Overview

SBI Growth (“we,” “us”) offers SMS-based two-factor authentication (“2FA”) for SBI Pro accounts to help protect your account from unauthorized access. If enabled for your account, we will send SMS messages only to deliver 2FA security codes when additional verification is needed.

How you provide consent (opt-in)

You provide consent to receive 2FA SMS messages during your onboarding with an SBI advisor as part of setting up your SBI Digital products and account access. Your advisor will confirm the mobile number to use for account security and obtain your permission to send 2FA codes to that number.

This consent applies only to account security/2FA messaging. We do not use this 2FA opt-in to send marketing or promotional texts.

When we send messages

We send a 2FA code by SMS only when your account requires additional verification, such as when suspicious login activity is detected or when we need to confirm it’s really you.

Message frequency varies per month based on account activity and security needs.

Eligibility and location

• Available to U.S. account holders only
• You must be 18 years or older to be the account holder

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.

How to opt out

You can opt out of 2FA SMS messages at any time by replying:
STOP (to cancel)

After opting out, you may not be able to receive SMS 2FA codes, which can affect your ability to complete certain login or verification steps.

Will I receive marketing texts if I opt in to 2FA?
No. This opt-in is for security codes only.
