November 10, 2020 | Dallas, TX – SBI, a management consultancy specializing in revenue growth, today announced that Ryan Tognazzini has joined the firm's Private Equity practice as a Managing Director.

Ryan originally joined SBI in 2010 as one of the first ten employees. During his initial tour with SBI, he helped launch a dedicated Private Equity Practice at the beginning of 2015, which today serves over 40 PE firms. Ryan is highly sought after by clients for his executive problem-solving skills in the areas of go-to-market and revenue health.  Executives, PE operating teams, and deal teams look to Ryan for advice and rely on his ability to drive positive outcomes through execution. He has a serial track record of success with his clients.

“I’m thrilled to be back at SBI in their Private Equity practice,” said Tognazzini. “It’s incredibly impressive to see what we have built and the strides we've made in this space. Given the macroeconomic influences, there has been an abundance of PE activity lately, and there is tremendous opportunity for us to help private equity firms and their portfolio companies drive outside returns on invested capital.”

Mike Hoffman, Senior Managing Director – Private Equity at SBI, added, “Ryan has come back to SBI with invaluable experience, and has already been an immense value add to our PE practice. He will be a key senior member of the SBI team as we continue to evolve the firm toward assisting private equity firms and their portfolio companies in underwriting to, and executing against, revenue growth based theses.”

Ryan previously spent nine years in sales and operations at Cintas, serving as the GM for the San Francisco branch. In 2016 Ryan left SBI for a CEO position at an enterprise software company, where he successfully transformed the business from 30% to 80% recurring revenue within four years on its way to an exit.
